Digital RGB LED family integrates intelligent-control lighting devices for decorative, consumer-electronics, computer-peripheral, and gaming-equipment applications. The family uses 8-bit, 256-level gray-scale control and supports 3.3 V to 5.5 V or 3.8 V to 5.5 V operating ranges depending on variant. RGB constant-current options span 5 mA, 12 mA, and 16 mA per channel across the family. Package options include 5050, 3535, 2427, 2020, 1313, 4020, and through-hole straw-hat or flat LED formats depending on variant.
WS2812B
Addressable RGB LED light source integrates the RGB LED die and digital control circuit in a 5050 component package. The device uses a single-wire NZR data protocol with 24-bit GRB color data and built-in signal reshaping for cascaded pixels. The supply-voltage rating is 3.5 V to 5.3 V, with operation specified from -25 °C to 80 °C. Each primary color supports 256 brightness levels for 16,777,216 full-color display combinations, with a scan frequency of at least 400 Hz/s and 800 kbps data transfer.
